Eva Mendes has opened up about a “lame” habit while she danced to a Barbie soundtrack single in a new Instagram video but fans found it totally acceptable.

The American actress has opted to stay out of the media spotlight but she is an active Instagram user and regularly updates her followers with new snaps and videos from her life. In her latest video, Eva revealed a “lame” condition she has but fans have a different opinion.

Eva is opening up about a “lame” habit in her new Instagram post.

The Hitch movie star uploaded a video of herself dancing to Dua Lipa’s Dance The Night from the official Barbie movie soundtrack. Eva looked gorgeous in a long floral dress and walked down the stairs when she pressed her lips in a pout.

“Why must I make that stupid pout when I start to dance?!” she questioned herself before asking: “[Does] anyone suffer from this seriously lame condition?”

Fans find the star’s habit acceptable

While Eva may find her habit “lame”, a number of her fans reassured her that they often make the same expression and don’t find it stupid.

“Totally acceptable in Australia,” one person wrote. “Somehow a pout amps up your performance.”

“That is a Latin thing, I think,” someone else noted.

“I do too, and I’m sure it’s the same condition that causes Cubans to only use their lips to point to things too,” another one said.

“Not stupid at all,” a fourth fan reassured the actress. “It’s a Hispanic thing and I’m sure Ryan Gosling doesn’t mind it! You’re stunning.”

The Hollywood star loves to share adorable tributes to her husband Ryan Gosling, who stars as Ken in Greta Gerwig’s 2023 live-action movie.

Last summer, she uploaded a first-look image of her husband in the leading role and her post was full of appreciation. “So. F. Funny. So. F. Good. So F excited for you to see this,” she wrote alongside the hashtag “That’s my Ken”.

In May this year, Eva posted a picture of herself in a shirt that read ‘Ryan Gosling as Ken’. She wrote in the caption: “Got that real big Kenergy. Coz girls is players too.”
