Cardi B claps back at fan throwing drink onstage by hurling something bigger

A clip from Cardi B’s performance in Las Vegas has gone viral after retaliating to a fan in the crowd throwing a drink on her on stage, by throwing a microphone back.

The Bodak Yellow singer was performing her hit track on stage in a floaty orange dress when the incident occurred, causing security to step in.

Cardi B throws microphone at fan

Whilst performing her hit song, Bodak Yellow, the 30-year-old was interrupted by a fan in the crowd throwing a drink at her on stage.

In the clip, Cardi can be seen looking visibly upset, as she throws her microphone back at the crowd member in question.

Security then rushed to remove the fan, as Cardi can be seen shouting something toward them as her hit track continued to play in the background.

The music star has not directly addressed the incident on social media, however, she ‘silently’ reacted on Twitter by retweeting a video which has the caption: “Jealous A** B****!”

Fans say ‘throwing things’ at performers needs to stop

Fans rushed to social media to react to the viral clip, as they urged concert-goers to stop throwing things at artists onstage.

“Time for entertainers to start reacting. This trend of throwing things at them is wrong,” wrote another.

“She did what needed to be done! people need to stop throwing stuff at performers!” claimed another.

“Maybe now these people will stop throwing things at artists,” wrote another.

Another said: “She was attacked first. Self-defense hands down!! Would you let someone throw a drink in your face?! H*** no!! Neither did Cardi B.”

However, others didn’t agree with the way the singer retaliated as one commented: “Violence is not always the answer to retaliation.”

Concert-goers throwing items on stage has become a huge problem

It seems like many celebs are having things thrown on them on stage as of late, some more light-hearted than others.

Not too long ago, Bebe Rexa had a phone thrown at her on stage, as Adele issued a warning to her concert-goers, as she said fans had forgotten “show etiquette.”

Drake, on the other hand, has been having a more light-hearted experience on his It’s All A Blur tour. Recently, he had a 36 G-sized bra thrown at him while performing.

He then asked concert-goers to “find this woman” which of course they did, and she has now been approached by Playboy to apply for a modeling role.
