Adele concertgoers saw her break down in tears at one of her latest Weekends With Adele show in Las Vegas, as she helped share one couple’s very special news with the crowd.
The video, which is now going viral on TikTok, shows the moment the music star reveals overwhelming news to the couple, the gender of their unborn baby.
Adele ‘breaks down in tears’ as she makes huge announcement
Couple, Chris and Shantelle, traveled down to Vegas from New York to watch Adele perform, as they ‘snuck’ a huge sign in, asking the singer if she’d do their gender reveal for them, which of course, she did. Adele said she was “obsessed” that they’d managed to get the huge sign past security.
Shantelle was 18 weeks pregnant and had been waiting for this moment since the 12-week mark. Whilst sitting on stage, the Rolling In The Deep singer opened the envelope, revealing that “Shantelle and Chris are having a boy!”
The crowd and couple then erupted into cheers, as Adele turned her head away from the audience as she broke down in tears, telling the couple she was “so happy” for them.
The superstar even asked if the couple would return the favor, and do her gender reveal “if and when” she gets pregnant.

As the videos of the gender reveal goes viral, fans are taking to Twitter to comment on how adorable the moment was for the couple.

Adele celebrates Weekend 22
The Hello singer takes to her almost 54 million Instagram followers every weekend, of her residency, as she’s now on weekend 22. Earlier on, the star issued a warning to fans, after they’d forgotten ‘show etiquette’, however, it looks like the announcements are much happier now.
Adele’s Las Vegas residency held at The Colosseum at Caesars Palace where dates have been running from November, and will carry on all the way through March.
That means there’ll be a lot more photo dumps for fans to enjoy in the weeks to come!
